 NOTE: In retrospect we realise and regret that this part of the story plays off a trans-phobic trope. It was not our intent to promote any form of transphobia. At the time we were playing off the bad early internet joke that any female met online was actually a man pretending to be a women. To be clear, trans women are women. Period. I chose not to take these comics down and pretend we never wrote them and instead post this comment stating that we apologies for propagating a transphobic trope and that we have and always will be strong supporters of trans rights and the trans community. |
